Tarjam (Taj) Robinson is the founder of PsyOpSec and PsyberWulf Security, two pioneering initiatives focused on integrating psychology, cyber threat intelligence, and offensive security tactics. He holds a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology, where his concentration centered on terrorism and behavioral threat assessment. His academic work examined how psychological manipulation, authority influence, emotional vulnerability, and cognitive biases are weaponized in persuasion, recruitment, and coercive threat operations. Before entering cybersecurity, Tarjam served as a police officer, where he gained real-world experience in human behavior, deception detection, investigative interviewing, and victim-offender dynamics. He later worked as a mental health clinician, providing psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, risk assessments, and behavioral treatment planning. These experiences deepened his insight into trust, compliance, emotional manipulation, and human susceptibility, which are some of the same psychological levers exploited in cyber and social engineering attacks.

 

Transitioning to cybersecurity, Tarjam has gained experience in penetration testing/ethical hacking, which has allowed him to understand firsthand that the weakest attack surface is often not a network, but a human mind. Moreover, cybercrime, and the victimology thereof, share many of the same factors as their non-digital counterparts These are the same factors that Tarjam has spent several years seeking to understand and prevent. Therefore, he felt that harnessing his education, training, experience, and passion into a directed focal point, would be the most efficient means of fulfilling his deepest desire of protecting others from those who mean to do them harm.
